๐Ÿค” How it Works?

1. Select the Application that you would like to control

You can select the application that you would like to control in 2 ways:

  1. In the Main Window - Navigate to the select box next to Select Application and select your desired application.
  2. In the Menu Bar - Hover over the Select Application โžก option and then select your desired application.

(Note: "Websites (YouTube, Netflix etc) via Chrome" option requires the Zesture chrome extension to be installed on your Chrome browser. Please refer to this page before selecting this option.)

2. Start Gesture Control

Again, you can start Zesture's gesture control system in 2 ways:

  1. In the Main Window - Click the ๐Ÿ‘‹ Start icon.
  2. In the Menu Bar - Click the Start Zesture option.

3. Wait for the system to load

After starting Zesture, you may have to wait a few seconds for the system to load. The waiting time can vary depending on the hardware specifications of your computer.

4. Start interacting

Make sure that the application that you would like to control is open.

  • For music apps like Spotify, Apple Music etc., make sure you have some playlist/album open.
  • For video apps/websites like YouTube, VLC, YouTube Music etc., make sure you have some video open.
  • For presentation apps like Microsoft Powerpoint and Apple Keynote, a presentation should be already open.

Once you get the notification Gesture Control Ready, you can start interacting using hand gestures.

5. Give permissions to control the app

For every app that you control using Zesture, you might get a dialog asking you to provide permissions to Zesture to control that app automatically. This permission is required on Mac devices. You only need to do this once per application. So, please click OK when asked.

6. Control some other application

If you wish to control some other application, you can follow the same process as in step 1.

  1. In the Main Window - Navigate to the select box next to Select Application and select your desired application.
  2. In the Menu Bar - Hover over the Select Application โžก option and then select your desired application.

7. Stop Gesture Control

You can stop Zesture's gesture control system in 2 ways:

  1. In the Main Window - Click the ๐Ÿ‘‹ Stop Zesture icon.
  2. In the Menu Bar - Click the Stop Zesture option.

8. Exit Zesture

You can exit Zesture in 2 ways:

  1. In the Main Window - Click the Exit button.
  2. In the Menu Bar - Click the Quit Zesture option.
